Efit appeal: burglary, College Road, Waterloo
E-fit: Burglary, College Road
Merseyside Police has released an E-fit of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a walk in burglary at Alexanders Cafe, College Road, Waterloo.
The offence took place at around 5.15pm on Monday, 18 January. Officers were called after a man entered the cafe through the front door, went behind the counter and stole a handbag and mobile phone belonging to a member of staff. When approached by a member of staff he asked about cakes to distract staff. The male left the store before staff realised he had stolen anything.
The handbag was recovered empty in a nearby street and will be forensically examined.
The offender is described as a white man, late 20's to early 30's, 5'8" tall, dark hair with several days facial growth.
