Merseyside Police is not part of the Home Office Immigration & Nationality Directorate (IND).
The Police will only investigate crime and will not be interested in your nationality or immigration status. You can report a crime or an incident to the police and this will not affect your status.
We will respond to reports from anyone and we will provide confidentiality at all times.
We can provide male and female officers as appropriate. Merseyside Police also provides professional male and female interpreters.
Merseyside Police is committed to fighting hate crime across Merseyside. Every area in Merseyside has Hate Crime Officers who are responsible for investigating hate incidents and crimes.
