How to make a complaint against Merseyside Police
If you wish to make a complaint against Merseyside Police there are a variety of ways of doing so:
Contact PSD directly using any of the contact details (see link below)
Go into any police station and ask for your complaint to be recorded
Contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau, Neighbourhood warden, Youth Offending Team or Probation service who can all provide you with information.
Contact a solicitor or your M.P. who can make a complaint for you.
Nominate someone to act on your behalf
Write to the Chief constable or Merseyside Police Authority
Contact the Independent Police Complaints Commission using the link on this page.

Please note that where a third party (including a solicitor) makes a complaint on your behalf you must provide written authority for them to act on your behalf.
