CCTV Appeal - Theft - Liverpool City Centre
Merseyside Police has released two CCTV stills of men they would
like to speak to in relation to a theft in Liverpool city centre in
August.
At about 2am on Monday, 27 August an amount of money was
withdrawn from an ATM on Old Hall Street from the bank account of a
young man without his knowledge. It is thought his card was taken
from him just prior to the money being withdrawn.
The victim was not injured during the incident and was unaware
his card had been taken and used until the next day.
Following a report officers established the card had been used
on Old Hall Street.
Officers believe the men pictured were driving hackney cabs in
the area at around the time of the incident and may have
information that could help the police with their enquiries.
Officers would urge the men pictured, anyone who recognises them
or anyone with information to contact police.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Merseyside Police on
0151 777 4065 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
