Identity Sought
Earlier, at 7.30 am, the victim was
outside of a bar on Eberle Street, Liverpool where he met a man and
they walked together towards Tithebarn Street. At the NCP car park
at Moorfields he met with a second man who stole his high-value
Gold Rolex watch and assaulted the victim.
The stolen watch is described as a
gold Rolex watch with emeralds set into the face.
Following the incident officers
believe the offender hailed a white Hackney taxi and travelled to
Lime Street Station, where he got out; Detectives wish to trace the
taxi driver who took him from the scene.
The offender is described as a
black man, aged in his 20's wearing a purple coloured shirt and
dark coloured trousers. It is thought that he walked with a
limp.
