Allerton

Welcome to the home page for Allerton.

Allerton is a suburb in the south of the City, bordering Woolton, Mossley Hill and Hunts Cross.
 
The area contains several open spaces including Clarke Gardens, within which stands Allerton Hall, a Grade II listed building that now serves as a public house.

Allerton Towers is also in the ward, a 35 acre park with opportunities for abseiling, orienteering, nature trails.

Allerton also has its own Beatles connection: It hosts the childhood home of Paul McCartney, now managed by the National Trust.

Charges and convictions

On 13th December 2012, Michael Smith, 38 years, of Merrivale Road, L25, was arrested and charged with three offences of Theft, one offence of common assault and one offence of breach of Anti-Social Behaviour Order, following an incident on the Hunts Cross retail park that day.
