Rock Ferry

Welcome to the ward page for Rock Ferry the home of Rock Park, on the banks of the River Mersey,Egerton Park, an oasis of late nineteenth-century villas and Highfield United Reformed Church, completed in 1871, a sizeable place of worship within Rock Ferry and a Grade II Listed building.

Isambard Kingdom Brunel's SS Great Eastern was beached at Rock Ferry for breaking up in 1889, which took eighteen months to complete.

Routine Multi-Agency Exercise – September 18, 2014

Operation Brookdale

The A3 CSO'S are currently targeting the area around Mersey Park, Tranmere as part of the on-going Op Brookdale activity as this is the usual place ASB relating to off road motorcycles.

Quad Bike

Birkenhead Neighbourhood has acquired a quad bike with the aim to specifically target ASB, crime and the nuisance of off road motor bikes in inaccessible areas such as Birkenhead Park, The Arno and Bidston Hill.
