CCTV Appeal After Attempt to Send Cannabis From Post Office in Rainhill
Merseyside Police is issuing a CCTV image of a man who may have information in relation to a drug supply investigation in Rainhill.
At around 3.10pm on Wednesday 31 January, an unknown man entered the Post Office on Warrington Road and produced an envelope which he requested be delivered to an address in the County Durham area. He then left the location.
Staff noticed a strong smell of cannabis and informed police, who attended and found four bags of cannabis inside, which was seized.
Constable Barry Woodbridge said: "We believe that the man pictured may have vital information to assist this investigation, so I would encourage him or anyone who recognises him to come forward as soon as possible.”
