Six-year-old boy injured in West Derby collision

We attended Liddell Road in West Derby following a collision last night (Wednesday 11 July) in which a child sustained a serious leg injury.

A report was received at 7.30pm that the six-year-old boy had been in collision with a grey Citroen C4 car on Liddell Road.

The driver, a woman in her 30s, stopped at the scene and is assisting police with enquiries into the incident.

The boy was taken to hospital where his condition is described as serious but stable.
