Two teenagers charged with burglary and other offences following incident in Liverpool on Saturday

We have arrested and charged two teenagers in connection with burglary and other offences following an incident in Liverpool on Saturday, 18 January.
At 7.30pm, a resident in Gill Street reported a burglary of his Audi Q5. The car was spotted by officers from our Roads Policing Unit in Old Swan at around 8.20pm and following a pursuit, the car was stopped on Woolton Road and two men were detained.
18-year-old Joshua Hamilton from Calder Road, Everton was arrested and has been charged with burglary dwelling; driving without a licence or insurance; aggravated vehicle taking and dangerous driving. He has been remanded in custody to appear for trial at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday 17 February.
A 15-year-old boy from Kensington was arrested and has been charged with burglary dwelling; and aggravated vehicle taking and dangerous driving. He appeared at Liverpool Magistrates Court today, Monday 20 January, pleaded guilty to all offences, and will be sentenced tomorrow, Tuesday 21 January.
