A man has been charged after reports a man made threats while armed with a knife in Wallasey on Friday (28 February).
Officers attended Darlington Close, having been called at 11.55am, and a number of neighbouring properties were evacuated while police dealt with the incident.
Tony Charles Gath, 38 years, of Devonshire Road, Oxton was later arrested and charged with affray, burglary, threat to damage/destroy property, causing a public nuisance and criminal damage.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court today (Monday 2 March 2020).
