Officers carrying out ongoing disruption operations at Lime Street station, Liverpool have arrested and charged a Nman with drug supply offences following an incident yesterday, Tuesday 12 May.
At around 3pm, officers stopped a man behaving suspiciously in the station. He was searched and found to have possession of quantities of drugs, later confirmed to be cocaine and heroin.
52-year-old Mark Canavan from John Street in Rhyl was arrested and has been charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply controlled drugs. Canavan was remanded to appear at court this morning and has been now conditionally bailed to appear for trial on Wednesday 10 June at Liverpool Crown Court.
