Detectives have charged a man with drug conspiracy offences following an arrest in Huyton on Tuesday 10 November.
At around 9am, a private hire taxi was stopped on St John’s Road and the driver was detained. He was arrested and taken to a police station for questioning. A search of an address in Huyton led to around £25,000 cash and other items being seized.
25-year-old Shaun Done of Holmestead Close has now been charged with Conspiracy to supply cocaine and cannabis; Conspiracy to convert criminal property; and Possession of criminal property. He was remanded in custody to appear yesterday, Wednesday 11 November at Liverpool Magistrates Court, and has been further remanded in custody until his next appearance.
This investigation is part of national Operation Venetic.
