Appeal for information following serious RTC in Maghull

We're appealing for information following a serious injury road traffic collision in Maghull last night, Tuesday 27 October.

At around 10.40pm, emergency services were called to the junction of Northway and Eastway to reports of a collision involving a Range Rover and a Mercedes.

A passenger from the Mercedes, a 7-year-old girl, was taken to hospital with serious head injuries. She remains in a critical but stable condition. The drivers of both vehicles received minor injuries.

Road closures were in place for several hours as initial investigations were carried out. Enquiries are ongoing.
