Detectives in Wirral have charged a man with attempted burglary as part of an ongoing investigation.
At around 11.40pm on Thursday 2 July, a window was smashed and entry attempted into a premises on Maybank Road, Tranmere. The attempt was unsuccessful.
Following enquiries, a man was arrested on suspicion of burglary yesterday (Monday 5 October).
18-year-old Awad Mohamad of Upper Parliament Street, Toxteth has now been charged with attempted burglary dwelling and will appear at Merseyside Adult Remand Court, Liverpool this morning, Tuesday 6 October.
