We have arrested and charged a man with causing criminal damage following an incident in Tranmere yesterday, Tuesday 6 October.
At around 10.45am, officers were called to a house in Holt Road to reports of banging noises and a man acting suspiciously. A man was detained at the scene and damage was found to a front door.
47-year-old Jason Smith of Brassey Street, Birkenhead has been charged with criminal damage and released on conditional bail to appear at Wirral Magistrates Court on Monday 9 November.
