Merseyside Police has charged 26 people following a protest at the News International premises in Knowsley on Friday night (4 September).

The following people have been charged with aggravated trespass:

William Morgan, 38 years of Carfield Avenue, Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Neil Traynor, 37 years of Mosspark Road, Stretford, Manchester

Stuart Akroyd, 44 years of no fixed abode

Lydia Dibben, 22 years of Woodside Avenue, Burley, Leeds, West Yorkshire

Patrick Fraine, 28 years of Groveland Avenue, Hoylake, Wirral

Rhiann Beaumont, 24 years of Primrose Farm, Felindre, Brecon, Wales

Joel Instone, 30 years of no fixed abode

Thomas Dalton, 21 years of no fixed abode

Mirian Instone, 22 years of Spring Close Mount, Sheffield

Peaceful Warrior, 54 years of Willow Close, Sleaford, Lincolnshire

Paul Sheeky, 45 years, of Wellfield Street, Warrington, Cheshire

Gregory Frey, 24 years of no fixed abode

Deborah Ehrenberg, 60 years of Church Terrace, Sowerby Bridge Halifax, West Yorkshire

Adam Haigh, 21 years of no fixed abode

Roman Paluch-Machnik, 27 years of Cuckoo Dene, Ealing

All have been bailed with conditions to Liverpool Knowsley & St Helens Mags Court on 8 and 13 January 2021.

The bail conditions are:

  •  Not to enter Merseyside
  • Not to contact any witness or News International employees by self, servant or agent
