Stabbing - Pilch Lane, Dovecot

Detectives in Knowsley are investigating following an incident in Dovecot last night (Thursday, 3 September).

Emergency services were called to Pilch Lane at around 11pm to reports of a fight involving a number of men in the road. On arrival a 33-year-old man was found with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital where he continues to be treated for injuries, which are not thought to be life threatening.

Officers cordoned off the scene for forensic examination. CCTV from the area is being sought and witnesses spoken to.
