We are appealing for information following reports of criminal damage to houses in Liscard on Monday, 26 April.
Shortly after 6pm, it was reported that four male youths had thrown bricks at the front windows of two houses on Parkfield Road, causing them to smash.
No-one was hurt in the incident although the occupants were understandably shocked and upset.
The youths are described as aged around 15, wearing hoods up and dark clothing. They are all reported to have had their faces covered. It is believed that they ran into Central Park after the incident.
Community Policing Sergeant Kate Roberts said: "This is thought to have been an unprovoked attack, and it was certainly senseless and cruel. I'd urge anyone who lives in the area of Parkfield Road to check any CCTV or dashcam footage they may have as it could be vital in identifying the offenders involved."
