Detectives have charged a Huyton man with drug offences following a warrant yesterday, Thursday 8 April.
Officers carried out a warrant in Huyton yesterday morning, detained a man, and seized items including four kilos of suspected amphetamine, and cash.
30-year-old Samuel Lewis of Mardale Road, Huyton has now been charged with; conspiracy to supply cocaine, ketamine, cannabis; and possession with intent to supply amphetamine.
He will appear at Wirral Magistrates today, Friday 9 April.
The charge forms another part of the Merseyside Police response to Operation Venetic: the national investigation into the use of encrypted mobile devices, commonly referred to as Encrochat.
