Detectives have charged two men and a woman with drug conspiracy offences as part of an ongoing investigation into drug supply across England and Wales.
More than six kilos of amphetamine, a kilo of cannabis and around £60,000 cash has been seized so far.
28-year-old Darren Nelson of Whitfield Road Walton has been charged with conspiracy to supply heroin, cocaine, amphetamine and cannabis; and conspiracy to kidnap.
57-year-old Robert Wood of Stamfordham Drive, Garston has been charged with conspiracy to supply heroin, cocaine, amphetamine and cannabis.
60-year-old Maureen Gallagher of Stamfordham Drive, Garston has been charged with conspiracy to supply heroin, cocaine, amphetamine and cannabis.
Wood and Nelson have been remanded in custody to appear today (Tuesday 27 April) at Wirral Adult Remand Court. Gallagher has been released on conditional bail.
This investigation forms another part of the Merseyside Police response to Operation Venetic: the national investigation into the use of encrypted mobile devices, commonly referred to as Encrochat.
