We are appealing for witnesses following a collision between an e scooter and a car in Liverpool last night, Sunday 8th August.
At around 11.20pm a male and female were on a privately owned scooter when it was in collision with a Ford Fiesta at the junction of Bridgewater Street and St James Street.
As a result of the collision the male rider of the scooter, who is in his 30s, was injured. He was taken to hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene.
The female passenger on the scooter is believed to have left with the scooter prior to patrols arriving.
A 22 year-old woman was later arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice.
Following a search of a nearby property two e scooters were seized for forensic examination.
