We arrested a 41 year-old man from Greater Manchester on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
Officers from Merseyside Police attended at an address in Worsley this morning, Thursday 26th August, and arrested the man on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs (heroin and cocaine) and possession of criminal property.
Following his arrest officers recovered an estimated £20,000 in cash, a BMW, a recovery truck and two quad bikes.
The man has been taken to a police station on Merseyside for questioning by detectives.
The arrest comes as part of the Merseyside Police response to Operation Venetic: a national investigation into the use of encrypted mobile devices, commonly referred to as Encrochat.
