A man from Woolton was charged with drugs offences yesterday (Monday 9 August) as part of an ongoing investigation into drugs supply in Merseyside and beyond.
Following his arrest earlier yesterday, Kevin James Allan, 40 years, of Watergate Way, Woolton was charged with conspiracy to supply Class A and Class B drugs and conspiracy to conceal/disguise/convert/transfer/remove criminal property.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Wirral Magistrates Court today, Tuesday 10 August.
The charge forms part of the Merseyside Police response to Operation Venetic: a national investigation into the use of encrypted mobile devices, commonly referred to as Encrochat.
