This week it’s National Apprenticeship Week. The celebratory week takes place in February each year and aims to recognise the invaluable contribution of apprentices across the country.
This year's theme, 'Build Your Future', seeks to showcase the opportunity and value that apprenticeships bring, and how they can help individuals and employers grow and develop.
Katie Anderson, Apprenticeship Officer at Merseyside Police said:
“At Merseyside Police we are proud to employ more than 60 apprentices, who all bring new ideas and fresh skills to help the force progress and support our communities. Since May 2017, we have recruited 45 new apprentices and upskilled 67 police officers and staff.
“We invested in upholding the National Apprenticeship Week train, retain and achieve message within our force and apprenticeships is one of the ways we can achieve this.”
We are currently recruiting for a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprentice to assist and support within the Corporate Assets team. The role is based at Edge Lane, L13 2EW within the Vehicle Fleet Management Department.
This is a very diverse role, and the successful candidate will assist in a variety of different administration task to assist the team and wider force. It is a great opportunity for any individuals looking to learn new skills working for Merseyside Police.
