We are aware of reports on social media suggesting a man suffered a broken leg during an incident at Prophecy gym in Speke on Sunday, 7 February.Police attended reports that the gym, on Gaskill Road, had been open despite current Covid restrictions. Officers made three arrests and issued 52 fixed penalty notices for Covid breaches.We can confirm there was no information to suggest that anyone had suffered a broken leg, or needed medical treatment, during the incident.No-one came forward to police at the time to indicate they had sustained a broken leg, and no-one has contacted us since.Anyone with information can DM @MerPolCC or call 101 quoting incident reference 21000043154.
