Detectives investigating the murder of 23-year-old Connor Dockerty in Huyton have charged a man with assisting an offender.
At around 8pm on Monday 19 April, emergency services were called to Kingsway after reports Connor had received stab wounds to his chest. He was taken to hospital where he sadly died.
43-year-old John Batey has been charged with assisting an offender and will next appear at Liverpool and Knowsley Magistrates Court on Wednesday 7 July.
A 16-year-old male has previously been charged with manslaughter; and a 14-year-old male has previously been charged with murder. Both are remanded in custody.
We are continuing to appeal for anyone with information about the incident to contact us, in particular anyone with CCTV, dashcam or video/mobile footage from the Kingsway or Liverpool Road area from around 8pm on April 19.
