Detectives have charged a West Derby man with drug supply offences following an arrest in West Derby yesterday, Tuesday 6 July.
44-year-old Michael Devine of Pete Best Drive, West Derby has now been charged with drug importation; and supplying heroin, cocaine, and amphetamines.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court this morning, Wednesday 7 July.
The charges form another part of the Merseyside Police response to Operation Venetic: a national investigation into the use of encrypted mobile devices, commonly referred to as Encrochat.
