Detectives have charged three men following an aggravated burglary in Tower Hill, Kirkby last week.
At around 9pm on Sunday 27 June, officers were called to Sapphire Drive to reports that males had entered an address, one of whom was reportedly in possession of a machete.
Two of the male occupants were assaulted, and were taken to hospital for treatment of serious but non life-threatening injuries. It is believed to have been a targeted attack.
Following extensive enquiries, the following men have been charged with aggravated burglary and affray:
30-year-old Curtis Rowson of Ascot Drive, Kirkby
27-year-old Kieran Rowson of Ascot Drive, Kirkby
20-year-old Peter Mallon of Shaftesbury Avenue, Kirkby
They appeared at Liverpool Magistrates Court today (Thursday 1 July) and have been remanded into custody to next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday 29 July.
