Detectives have charged a 17-year-old male with attempted murder following a shooting last weekend in Toxteth.
Shortly before 8pm on Saturday 29 May, police were called to Crown Street Park after reports of shots being fired following a reported altercation. Evidence was to confirm that shots were fired.
The victim, a 19-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He remains in hospital in a stable condition.
The 17-year-old male arrested will appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court this morning, Saturday 5 June.
