Liverpool man, 50, charged with weapons and drugs offences

A 50 year-old Liverpool man has been charged with weapon and drugs offences.
Officers from the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit (NWROCU) arrested Peter Lawler, this morning, Thursday 24th June, as part of an ongoing investigation into firearms and drugs offences committed in the Merseyside and Greater Manchester areas.
Lawler of Eton Court, Allerton, has been charged with conspiring to sell or transfer a prohibited weapon on 15th May 2020 and with the offence of possession of a Class A controlled drug with intent to supply.
He has been remanded into custody to appear at Wirral Magistrates Court tomorrow, Friday 25th June.
