Four men charged with firearms offences following recovery of a gun in Toxteth

Four men have been charged following the recovery of a firearm in Toxteth on Thursday night (11 March 2021)
Thomas Lawler, 23 years, of Corinto Street, Toxteth has been charged with Sell/Transfer a prohibited weapon and Possession of ammunition.
James McGlade, 24 years of Lower Hall Street, St Helens, has been charged with Sell/Transfer a prohibited weapon.
Sefer Allushi, 26 years, of no fixed abode and Erald Sida, 31 years, of Nursery Road, Bloxwich, Walsall, were both charged with Sell/Transfer a prohibited weapon and possession of a firearm.
They will all appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court this morning (Saturday, 13 March).
Two other people, a 50-year-old man from Toxteth and a 45-year-old woman from Gateacre have been released under investigation.
