Detectives have charged a Huyton man with drug offences following an arrest today, Wednesday 24 March.
Officers attended an address in Huyton and detained a man, who was taken to custody for questioning.
39-year-old Christopher Perryman of Gloucester Road has now been charged with conspiracy to supply heroin and cocaine.
Perryman will appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court tomorrow, Thursday 25 March.
The charge forms another part of Operation Venetic, the national investigation into the use of encrypted mobile devices, commonly referred to as Encrochat.
