Merseyside Police, working jointly with the National Crime Agency, have charged a man and arrested a woman in connection with drug offences in Wirral.
Yesterday, Wednesday 24 March, officers carried out a warrant and arrested two people at a flat in Liscard. Seized from the location was suspected drugs manufacturing equipment, and large quantities of suspected heroin, cocaine and mixing agents.
Ian Cooper, 42 years, from Wallasey Road was charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and will appear at Wirral Magistrates Court today, Thursday 25 March.
A 34-year-old woman from Poulton was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Further searches and enquiries are ongoing.
