We have yesterday (Tuesday 18 May) charged a 41-year-old Huyton man with drugs and firearm offences.
Following his arrest on 17 May, Thomas Robinson of St Mary's Road Huyton was charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and heroin, possession of a firearm, and possession of ammunition.
He has been remanded in custody and appeared at Sefton Magistrates Court today, Wednesday 19 May, where he was further remanded to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on 16 June.
The charge forms another part of the Merseyside Police response to Operation Venetic: a national investigation into the use of encrypted mobile devices, commonly referred to as Encrochat.
