We have charged a 39 year-old Liverpool man with drugs offences.
Anthony Bowden of Lancer Way, West Derby, has been charged with seven offences of Class A and B supply and heroin importation and converting criminal property.
He was remanded into custody to appear in court today, Wednesday 12th May.
The charge forms another part of the Merseyside Police response to Operation Venetic: the national investigation into the use of encrypted mobile devices, commonly referred to as Encrochat.
