We have arrested two men and seized drugs, cash and other paraphernalia as part of a County Lines operation in South Liverpool today, Thursday 11 November.
At around 1.30pm, officers from Liverpool Targeted Team engaged on Project Adder stopped a taxi in Commerce Way, Toxteth.
The two passengers made off but were detained a short time later and drugs, cash and other items were seized.
A 22-year-old man from Toxteth was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs.
A 24-year-old man from Toxteth was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.
Both have been taken into custody for questioning.
