We are appealing for information after drugs were stolen from a veterinary surgeons in Mossley Hill yesterday, Friday 29 October.
At around 8.10am, officers were called to Medivets on Green Lane to reports that unknown offenders had gained entry overnight and stolen a large quantity of drugs, and cash. Enquiries are ongoing to confirm exactly what drugs were stolen.
CCTV, witness and forensic enquiries are ongoing to find those responsible and officers are asking for anyone with any information to come forward.
Detective Inspector Debbie Tipton said: “It’s absolutely vital that whoever stole these drugs understands that human consumption can have serious or fatal effects.
“Likewise, if you have any information as to who was responsible or have been offered any stolen drugs come forward immediately and we will ensure that the person or persons involved are brought to justice.
“If you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area, or captured their image or description on CCTV, dashcam or other devices, let us know.”
