We are appealing for help in tracing a pedestrian who gave first aid to an elderly man whose mobility scooter was in collision with a car in Liverpool.
At around 9am on Thursday 23rd September the scooter and the Audi car were in collision on Brownlow Hill at the junction of Grove Street.
The 94 year old gentleman using the mobility scooter suffered serious injuries in the collision. He was taken to hospital by ambulance where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
The male driver of the car stopped and is assisting police with the investigation.
We are aware there was a pedestrian crossing the road at the same time as the mobility scooter who then give first aid.
We are also aware other road users witnessed this collision and would encourage them to get in touch.
Anyone who can assist the investigation is asked to DM @MerPolC or @MerPolTraffic and quote reference 21000662048.
