We are appealing for information following a road traffic collision in Liverpool City Centre yesterday (Wednesday 15 September).
At around 4.05pm, we were called to Tithebarn Street to reports of a collision involving a Citroen and a child pedestrian.
Emergency services attended and the child was taken to hospital for her injuries. Following an assessment, she has since been discharged from hospital with minor injuries.
The driver stopped at the scene and is assisting police with enquiries.
Officers are appealing to anyone in the area who witnessed the collision to come forward.
Roads Policing Sergeant Simon Duffy said “We’re asking anyone who was on Tithebarn Street who may have witnessed the collision yesterday afternoon to contact us.
“If you captured mobile phone or dashcam footage of the incident then please get in touch as any information you have could prove vital to our investigation.
“Whether you choose to get information to us directly or anonymously, through Crimestoppers, any information you provide will be acted upon.”
