Know this man? Detectives think he may have information to assist an assault investigation in Kirkby from earlier this year.
At around 9pm on Sunday 30 May, officers were called to McDonalds in Irlam Road, Kirkby Town Centre to reports of a man in his 50s being struck in the head with a bottle outside the restaurant. He sustained a cut which required treatment at hospital.
Detective Inspector Jackie Guinness said: “We think the man pictured may have vital information to help our enquiries, so if you know him come forward.
“This appears to have been a vicious and unprovoked attack, which thankfully didn’t result in more serious injuries, as it easily could have done. We will act on what you tell us so speak to us directly or anonymously through Crimestoppers, which is completely independent of police.”
