A Liverpool man is the latest to be charged with drug offences as part of Operation Venetic.
Charlie Stanton, 25 years, of Merrilocks Road has been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine, conspiracy to supply heroin and conspiracy to supply cannabis following his arrest yesterday (Monday 25 April).
Following his arrest, a significant quantity of cash was recovered from a separate address.
Stanton was remanded into custody to appear at Wirral Magistrates Court today (Tuesday 26 April).
The charge forms another part of the Merseyside Police response to Operation Venetic: the national investigation into the use of encrypted mobile devices, commonly referred to as Encrochat.
