A man from Birkenhead has been charged after he was accused of being involved in a conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
At 8am yesterday morning (Thursday 8 December) Officers of Operation Aquarium: a national investigation into the use of encrypted mobile devices, commonly referred to as Encrochat attended a property on Collin Road and arrested a man inside.
During a search of the address a small quantity of Class A and Class B drugs were found inside.
26-year-old Kurtis Bolton of Hoblyn Road, Bidston was charged with conspiracy to Supply Class A drugs and convert criminal property.
He remains in custody and will appear at Wirral Magistrates Court this morning.
