Serious RTC on Sandy Lane, Seaforth

Officers are in attendance at a road traffic collision on Sandy Road in Seaforth this morning, Friday 9 December.

At around 7.50am, we received a report of a collision involving a vehicle and a woman pedestrian.

The woman has been taken to hospital with a serious head injury.

The driver stopped at the scene and is helping police with their enquiries.

Road closures are in place on Sandy Road and Claremont Road while emergency services attend the incident. We ask that drivers avoid the area and find an alternative route, and thank you for your patience.

We are appealing for any witnesses, CCTV and dash camera footage which may assist the investigation.
