Two men have been charged following a series of raids in Speke, Anfield and Widnes yesterday morning (Wednesday 14 December).
At around 6am officers executed warrants across Liverpool and Widnes and arrested four suspects on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs and money laundering.
The arrests formed part of a six-month investigation by detectives from Merseyside Police County lines investigation team and Cheshire Police into an organised crime group (OCG) operating in and around the Runcorn area.
Darren Garbe, aged 22, of Fenton Green, Speke and Zachary Rizzotti, aged 20, of St Andrews Road, Liverpool were charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs yesterday evening at West Cheshire Magistrates Court.
They were both remanded into custody.
Two women aged 54 and 21 from Liverpool and Widnes who were arrested yesterday on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs and money laundering have been bailed following any further enquiries.
