A Merseyside man who was wanted on recall to prison since July has been arrested in Seacombe.
Ryan Blackburn, aged 33, from Birkenhead, breached his license conditions after he served a sentence for assault earlier this year.
Extensive efforts were made by officers to find Blackburn and an appeal for information was circulated across Merseyside.
At around 1pm yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 13 December) officers detained and arrested Blackburn at an address in Seacombe.
Chief Inspector Tom Welch said: “I hope this arrest shows that there is no hiding place for anyone who is evading police.
“Thanks to a thorough investigation conducted by our officers Ryan Blackburn has been located and arrested by police.
“These actions are about stopping anyone who could cause fear and harm in our community and we will leave no stone unturned to find people who are wanted – either in connection with ongoing investigations or when they have their licence revoked.”
