We can confirm officers are today, Friday 18th February, at the scene of a road traffic incident in Netherton.
Officers were contacted at just after 2.10pm to reports that debris had struck a vehicle at Switch Island/Dunningsbridge Road.
A male in the vehicle was injured and paramedics are currently at the scene.
The M58 is in the process of being closed while the incident is dealt with.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
