Man charged following stabbing on Colbert Close, Wirral

We have charged a man following a stabbing on Wirral.
At around 1.30am yesterday, Sunday 30 January, officers were called to an address on Colbert Close, Wirral to reports that a man had been stabbed in the neck.
Emergency services attended and a man in his 30s was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
A 32-year-old man was arrested by police a short distance away from the scene.
Mirco Gerlach, aged 32, of Colbert Close, Wirral has now been charged with Section 18 Wounding.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear in court this morning, Monday 31 January.
