We have charged a man in Litherland with possession with intent to supply Class B drugs following his arrest yesterday (Wednesday 26 January).
Two Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) conducting enquiries in Litherland at around 2.45pm in relation to a wanted man called additional patrols who forced entry to an address after noting a strong smell of cannabis.
Officers arrested and later charged John Paul Rea, 32, of no fixed address with possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.
They also seized a quantity of cannabis and an electric bike.
Rea was remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court today (Thursday 27 January).
If you have any information on the possession of, storage or use of drugs and weapons in your community, please contact our social media desk on Twitter @MerPolCC or Facebook ‘Merseyside Police Contact Centre’.
