A female police officer seriously injured in a road traffic collision in Tuebrook is showing signs of gradual improvement.
The officer was injured after two patrol cars, responding to separate emergency incidents, were in collision at the junction of West Derby Road and Green Lane in the early hours of Monday, 11th July.
She was taken to hospital where she continues to be treated.
A second female officer who suffered pelvic and leg injuries has now been discharged from hospital and is continuing to recover at home.
